Welcome to Magnolia

Enviable seclusion and charm

Built into the hilly parts of Northwest Seattle, Magnolia is a tranquil, suburban haven featuring some of the city’s most elegant properties. A quiet peninsula connecting quickly to Seattle, luxury amenities elevate the quality of life in Magnolia, without the need for residents to leave town for anything they want. While its name originated from a mistake of the area’s madrona trees for magnolias by Lieutenant George Davidson in 1857, the neighborhood has maintained its classy attitude and relaxed pace, appealing to those drawn to the tranquility and tucked-off setting. Residents cherish their tight-knit community and proximity to every basic need while reveling in the buzz of seasonal town events like the farmer’s market and having Seattle’s largest park in their neighborhood. Homes are predominantly Mid-century modern, immaculately crafted upon well-manicured landscapes, and decked with state-of-the-art fixtures.

Basically an island, Magnolia affords its residents a private and serene suburban lifestyle. Life here is peaceful and far from the noise of Downtown Seattle, which is connected to Magnolia by three bridges. Despite this, there’s hardly a need to leave town since all city amenities can be found in the Village and within walking distance from residents’ charming homes. Spot wildlife on evening strolls across the neighborhood parks or kick back in your yard to watch the sunset against the backdrop of the Seattle Skyline. Breathtaking views, quiet days, and ample opportunities for outdoor recreation abound in Magnolia.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

The Pink Salt is a family-owned Peruvian restaurant, fused with Chinese and French flavors. Diners enjoy their meal in a warm atmosphere, made welcoming by rustic fireplaces and candlelights, with meals chased down with an exquisite collection of wines and cocktails. The restaurant also hosts a jazz night event for a more lively dining experience and when you want someone to cater to your home events, they’re experts at it.

Authentic Italian pasta and pizzas are served at Mondello Italian Restaurant, made with the freshest ingredients, and enjoyed in a fully heated outdoor and indoor sitting area. The serene atmosphere makes diners feel right at home either over family meals or a date night. The breakfast menu at Serendipity Cafe is a local favorite. Pancakes, waffles, smoked salmon, what's not to love? Their breakfast special is packed with nourishing food items that give the right energy to start the day. Planning a memorable date night? Your luxurious pampering session is guaranteed at the Vixen Collection. Stop by for a manicure and pedicure session, give in to a body and mind relaxing massage, with aromatic oils and diffusers.

The Discovery Park is a staggering 600 acres of lush green landscapes. Playgrounds for children are scattered all over the park. A 12-mile trail winds through the park and it’s a haven for residents looking to exercise by jogging or biking, or just to enjoy a casual walk while enjoying the scenery.

Immerse yourself in Native American culture at the Daylight Star, or browse through their Art Collections. The magnificent views of the Puget Sound are one of the major attractions of Magnolia Park, but for athletes and picnickers, lush green fields are as inviting as ever. There are park benches where you can sit to read, or if you feel like breaking a sweat, the paved tennis court awaits.

Shake off the summer heat at the Mounger Pool or engage in a friendly pool volleyball game with your friends. Discover local wildlife and experience nature at its very best at Salmon Bay Wildlife Corridor.
