Things To Do

The Volunteer Park is home to a number of events and activities, especially in the summer and spring. Summertime is the unofficial picnic time, while sports like soccer and softball also have designated fields. Residents with dogs can be seen enjoying a frisbee game with their pets. In the spring, the Dahlia Garden blooms and changes the outlook of the park. Koi ponds are also clustered around with their bright and decorative fins catching the sun rays. It is home to the Volunteer Park Conservatory, a Botanical Garden, and a designated Seattle landmark.
 
The Historic Mansion District is located on Millionaire's Row and features sprawling mansions that date back to the early 20th century. Take a walk through the street and gaze upon the historic and magnificent mansions, most with an underlying history.

Cal Anderson Park is a public park featuring a mountain-like fountain, a reflecting and wading pool. It also has a playground with features like swings, slides, and many more. Tennis and Basketball enthusiasts can get their game on at the concrete courts within the park.
